UNISON’S 15 YEARS
As young designers, Winnetka’s Alicia and Robert Segal journeyed to Finland to live and work for legendary design house, Marimekko. After five years abroad, they returned to Chicago but remained inspired by the joyful simplicity and quality of life they lived in Scandinavia. In 2006, they launched home furnishings company UNISON with a colorful, graphic collection of bedding and throw pillows that focused on simplicity with the highest production standards. Fifteen years later, Unison’s collections exist alongside more than 20 designers and artists with products for every room of the house.
