REBECCA ASFOUR, owner of The Dailey Method and Raleigh Bird, says she has a “Ted Lasso leadership style. I try to always be kind and root for everyone to succeed; I think all boats rise together.” She channeled her passion for wellness and fitness into two thriving barre and cycle studios, and her interest in fashion into an online store, raleighbird.com, named after her daughter, Raleigh. With a background in consulting, private equity, and retail, she possessed the savvy to pivot during the COVID shutdowns to keep her businesses alive. “I turned our studios into virtual platforms nearly overnight, and launched an online retail shop last October. Both were goals of mine, but COVID fast-tracked them into necessities.” Asfour’s work-life balance dovetails nicely with her daily fashion choices. “I usually wear Beyond Yoga or lululemon during my workouts.” she says. “When I’m not in workout gear, I like the ease of a dress, the comfort of a well-cut jogger, or the coziness of a sweater—all things we carry in the shop. The active wear and athleisure we stock at Raleigh Bird is curated for an active and powerful woman!”
