And a bartender creating what Esquire calls the “freakiest, dopest cocktails in town.” On September 28, the Auxiliary Board of the Art Institute of Chicago will introduce the Studio Party, a not-to- be-missed new event that gives guests a taste of creative genius in advance of the Chicago opening of Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again. Co-chairs Dr. Shay Bahramirad, Joe Duffy, Bridget Jordan Levy, Tommy Miller, and Erin White say more surprises are in store. Held in what was once the world’s largest macaroni factory, the Studio Party promises to tap into the wit and ephemera of Andy Warhol’s Factory for an evening of pop art reverie.
