Join the Les Turner ALS Foundation for the ALS Walk for Life on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Soldier Field. The 2-mile course winds along Chicago’s lakefront and through iconic Solider Field. Participants walk for hope, walk for help and walk for life while supporting those affected by ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Emceed by meteorologist Phil Schwarz of ABC7, the event will include music, entertainment, food and children’s activities. The ALS Walk for Life will occur rain or shine.
With approximately 7,000 participants, the ALS Walk for Life is one of the world’s largest gatherings of the ALS community. In its 16-year history, the ALS Walk for Life has raised more than $12 million. Registration is free, and participants are encouraged to fundraise for the Les Turner ALS Foundation.
