The Occasion: The Juvenile Protective Association (JPA) took their cause to the runway at Saks Fifth Avenue on March 1, for a fashion show to benefit the organization.
The Highlights: Not only did the supporters enjoy the fashion show, they were also treated to private consultations by Laura Mercier makeup artists and a presentation of jewelry trends by designer Sharon Meyer.
The VIPs: Taylor Lindstrom and Debbie Van Solkema, both of Wilmette, served as the event’s co-chairs, and Nan Kaehler, longtime JPA Board Member, gave honor to Richard Calica, Executive Director of JPA for 33 years.
The End Result: The more than 175 guests raised money to help JPA continue their mission of ensuring the safety and emotional security of vulnerable children through therapeutic and supportive services, influencing public policy through research and education, and bringing hope to families.
