The Occasion: Supporters of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago got down in a fusion of fine art, funk, and flavor during the cultural institution’s annual winter benefit, artEdge 2012, on February 4.
The Details: In a rare personal appearance, Chef Wolfgang Puck offered his finest fare during
cocktail hour, as renowned artist Nick Cave unleashed his Soundsuits, who made their way through the reception.
The Highlight: After the conclusion of dinner, stage lights and chromatic chords announced the arrival of the godfather of funk himself, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic.
