The Occasion: After a lively breakfast in The Zodiac at Neiman Marcus Northbrook, supporters of the North Shore Medical Research Junior Board of Children’s Memorial Hospital (NSMRJB) picked up the party and moved it out to Couture, where they were treated to a high-energy fashion show.
The Background: The event served as a kickoff for a year of fund-raising for the powerhouse group’s focus for 2011: Dr. Stewart Goldman, a specialist in neuro-
oncology at Children’s Memorial.
VIPs: Amy Goldman and Brooke Friedman served as co-chairs for the sold-out event.
The End Result: Funds were raised for NSMRJB’s ongoing mission, and excitement began for the organization’s major fund-raiser, Harvest Moon, to be held on October 15.
