Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Guild Board of Directors

The Occasion: More than 550 of Chicago’s cultural elite attended the “Masked Ball” Fantasy of the Opera Gala benefit hosted by Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Guild Board of Directors on a wintry February evening.
The Scene: Even though it was blustery outside, the moody blues and purples of the Civic Opera House set a hot scene, and included ornate masks on everything and everyone.
The Highlights: Those lucky enough to hold tickets spent the evening bidding on outstanding silent auction items, taking in the finest talent the Lyric has to offer, and dancing the night away to Ken Arlen’s Indigo.
The Final Tally: More than $484,000 was raised for the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
