More than 1,500 walkers of the 16th Annual Walk for Wellness House came out on the morning of May 6, to make great strides in support of the Hinsdale not-for-profit mainstay.
More than 1,000 women spent the beginning of their Mother’s Day running through Hinsdale during the “Run Like a Mother” 5K race and fundraiser. More than $30,000 was raised for Bridge Communities, a not-for-profit organization that transforms the lives of homeless families in DuPage County by providing homes and hope to moms and their children.
As a follow-up event to the organization’s “Clubbin’ for a Cause” last March, the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club (HJWC) hosted a lively year-end banquet and awards night at Salt Creek Club on the evening of May 8.
