The Shedd Aquarium hosted its 25th anniversary black tie gala, Reflections, on Saturday, May 18. The event, hosted by the aquarium’s Board of Trustees, brought together more than 631 of Chicago’s philanthropists. Guests had opportunities to interact with several different species of animals throughout the event and were treated to a special aquatic presentation, Tomorrow Starts Tonight. Over $2 million was raised to advance the Shedd’s mission to spark compassion, curiosity, and conservation of the aquatic animal world. sheddaquarium.org
