The Women’s Board and Board of Trustees of the Chicago Zoological Society hosted its 38th annual fundraiser at Brookfield Zoo in April. The black tie event attracted more than 700 corporate, civic, and philanthropic leaders from throughout the Chicago area. This year’s theme, “Roaring Whirl 2019,” celebrated the 100th anniversary of land donated to the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Funds raised will support the animals at Brookfield Zoo, and the Society’s conservation, education, and research programs. czs.org
