A sold-out crowd gathered for JCF’s Fifth Annual Ping Pong Ball, raising a record-breaking $350,000 benefiting families with critically ill babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The tournament featured table tennis fun, a lively party with memorable food and drinks, and unique auction packages. Heather Boyer and Tom Bulow served as co-chairs and Kye Martin hosted the VIP tournament featuring matches between Chicago’s favorite sports teams. Last year’s crowd-favorite and NICU alum Nandan Naresh, and his brother Sid, taught guests some tips and tricks before the main event tournament. Former Chicago Cub Jason Hammel won the 30-player tournament and NICU nurse Tiffany McCallum of Northwestern Medicine Prentice was presented the coveted Owl Give Award. All proceeds benefit JCF’s NICU Transportation Program at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital. jacksonchance.org
