Now through October 31, 2017, the agents of the Hinsdale office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group will collect winter coats for donation to DuPage Pads. During that time, agents will reach out to their clients, friends, and family to arrange in-home pickups in order to make the donation on November 1, 2017. Additionally, members of the public are encouraged to call the office to arrange a pickup. DuPage Pads works to end homelessness in the DuPage County community by helping the homeless with services that include support, education, employment, and housing.
Terri Doney, Managing Broker of the firm’s Hinsdale location, said, “Having proper outerwear in the winter here in the western suburbs of Chicago is so important.” She continued, “I’m pleased that our office is reaching out to our clients and our community to collect coats. Our agents will come to your home to pick up your items or they can be dropped off at our Hinsdale office. We will be accepting coats that are in good condition for all ages. Our collection will be given to DuPage Pads, an organization we have partnered with for many years.”
