Favorite foods? I love Mexican food, especially the flautas at Cine.
Music you love? I’m a Gen-x’er, so I still love electronic dance music such as Yaz and Depeche Mode especially when I’m working out.
Best advice ever given to you? My mother has always said “follow your heart, not your head.”
Best advice you’ve given? If you have to ask “How do you know when you’re ready to get married?” then, you’re not ready.
Earliest memory? My aunt making my mother and me coordinating Easter dresses every year.

What’s on your bookshelf? I just read the mystery novel by Ruth Ware, In a Dark Dark Wood and couldn’t wait to buy her new haunting novel, The Woman in Cabin 10 which I am reading now. I must confess that I’m still obsessed with my David Bowie Is coffee table book that I purchased at his exhibit prior to his passing.
You can’t live without? My Swell bottle, regardless of what’s in it.
Love to escape to? My backyard in the evening with a chardonnay.

Transportation? My silver Infiniti. It’s my soccer mom car.
Driving music? I am usually driving my kids somewhere so they control the playlist that consists of Taylor Swift and Justin
Beiber. As soon as they’re out of the car, I turn on Coldplay.

Shop? Bluemercury, Stockholm Objects, and Anderson’s bookshop in La Grange
Best thing about the Country? I love seeing kids riding their bikes without a care in the world. It reminds me of how I grew up.
Worst thing about the Country? The parking.
The perfect day is…? Believe it or not, I love my job, so I would have to say a full day of work and then sitting down with my family over dinner, then watching an episode of The Night Of.

Transportation? My husband drives for date night or we Uber.
Driving music? We share the same taste in music so it could be anything from U2 to Sting with a little Kravitz in between.
Place to eat? Ever since I lived in Old Town, I have always loved Topolobambo and Frontera Grill.
Shop? I enjoy shopping at Eataly because it makes me feel like I can actually cook. And, I always have to get my Barney’s fix.
Best thing about Town? The lakefront.

The perfect day is…? A little shopping with the family, lunch at Eataly, and then renting Divvy bikes and riding along the lakefront.
