Little League Baseball has been an essential part of life in our local towns for three generations. The program emphasizes the virtues of character, courage, and loyalty. Many of our families have proven extremely loyal, with fathers and grandfathers who once played on town fields now coaching teams or serving on the Board of Directors.
Though traveling teams and other outlets for play have gained in popularity, nothing can equal the pureness of intention of a Little League game on a sunny spring day.
Many supporters of Hinsdale Little League (HLL) will be at The Community House on Friday, May 17 from 7–11 p.m. for the 2013 Fundraiser. HLL maintains the ball fields without help from the village, and money raised from the evening of dancing and stadium-style food and drinks will go toward improving the fields.
