Whether you currently have children or you’re expecting a new arrival, it’s important to preprepare your four-legged family members for changes in the household dynamic. “Dog and Baby Connection,” a free class for parents, does just that: not only will you learn how to introduce dogs of all ages and sizes to young or infant children, you’ll also get tips for dealing with future milestones. This is especially helpful with toddlers, because no matter how patient your canine pal is, he or she probably won’t like being poked in the eye by your two-year-old!
“Dog and Baby Connection” will meet from 7:00 – 8:45 p.m. on Monday, April 29 at the Hinsdale Public Library, . To register, email [email protected] or call 630-323-5630, ext 17. For more information, visit hinsdalehumanesociety.org.
