Attending the event entitled “A Red Tie Affair,” more than 200 supporters of St. Isaac Jogues took over the ballroom of Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago on December 10 to raise funds for the Hinsdale parish. Bruce and Karen Larson served as the 2011 Holiday Ball co-chairs. John and Vanessa McTigue were honored for their tireless efforts in support of the event. Before guests enjoyed dinner, grace was given by Monsignor Michael M. Boland, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of Chicago. The guests, many dressed in red to celebrate the theme, danced the night away to the Larry King Orchestra as the city glittered below. More than $80,000 was raised, going directly toward the operating budget of the parish.
