For the fourth year in a row, Burlington Park came alive with all the spookiest of ghosts and goblins during the Village of Hinsdale’s Family Fest on October 15. The free event kicked off with a costume parade, whose participants marched from Hinsdale Middle School’s East Field to the park. The more than 1,500 guests enjoyed pumpkin decorating, inflatables, and carnival games—despite the windy conditions. The “Whip Guy” provided entertainment before the winners of the costume contest were announced. The day ended with trick or treating for the kids in the downtown business district.
