Nearly 140 guests laughed along to Bravo Waukegan’s “Friend-Raiser”—Jazz & Jokes—at Gorton Community Center. The evening featured an all-star lineup of comedians following a reception with jazz music performed by Waukegan High School alumni. Attendees also learned about Bravo Waukegan’s mission of providing resources to support music education in the Waukegan Public School District and learned about nonprofit Forest & Found, a resale shop in Lake Forest that donates its proceeds to other local nonprofits including Bravo Waukegan. bravowaukegan.org; forestandfound.com
