The communities of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff celebrated America’s big day in patriotic fashion. The much-beloved Lake Bluff 4th of July Parade stepped off to start the day, as thousands lined the streets cheering and waving flags. This year’s theme was “Celebrate Heroes” and the Lake Bluff Police & Fire Departments served as the 2017 parade marshal. Many then headed over in the evening to Deerpath Community Park for a spectacular concert featuring Foreigner™ founding member and one of the biggest names in rock music, Lou Gramm, bringing guests back to the 80’s.
