Joanna Koperski, one of the top 5 percent real estate brokers in Illinois, brings a very unique set of qualifications and skills to the table as a real estate broker. Her previous career as the CEO of a lauded computer graphics design firm in the ‘90s really honed her talents for communication, presentation, transparency, marketing, and attention to detail, which she uses every day in her real estate career.
“As the computer graphics business evolved, requests for builders’ and architects’ renditions were coming in, and with my love of architecture and interiors, it was the most natural step to take,” Koperski says. “As a bonus, with my advertising and IT background, I can work on the entire project from start to finish—I have the privilege of negotiating positions, creating all of my clients’ advertising and marketing, deploying strategies, and bringing my clients to a successful close.”
Koperski’s clients love her wealth of experience in every facet of the real estate process and her availability, knowledge, and compassion as she guides them through it. Whether she’s closing real estate transactions worth millions or $100,000, she’s dedicated to success and the highest degree of professionalism.
“Joanna is a wonderful agent to do business with,” says Adam Cwikla. “She is very knowledgeable regarding the housing market in the North Shore area. Joanna is very professional, respectful, and responsive to not only our calls and inquiries, but also those of prospective buyers. We knew that it would take a special buyer to purchase our home in the difficult housing market, and Joanna delivered.”
When taking on new clients, Koperski assesses their situations, designs market solutions customized to their specific individual circumstances, and alleviates any concerns they might have. She sees each client as a distinctive scenario requiring individual attention and a unique outcome.
“We are conditioned by the media to consider the real estate market as a whole, which proves to be fallacious,” Koperski says. “The market is actually comprised of micro-markets responding to the particular motivators influencing them. It’s our job to present and clarify these fluctuations to our clients, and explain their effect on their personal situations.”
Though she’s always available to her clients, she also dedicates time to North Shore causes that are near and dear to her heart. She’s a member of the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Forest Historical Preservation Society, and the Lake Forest International Club. “Being an active member of the Lake Forest community is indispensable to my ability to advise and assist my clients with information that revolves around issues concerning their own properties,” she says.
Even with all of her knowledge of the markets, locations, design, and advertising, it’s her determination to exceed each client’s expectations that truly makes Koperski special.
“My clients come first,” she says. “My goal is to ensure that each one receives my undivided attention and, equally important, that they enjoy a most successful, gratifying, and rewarding real estate experience. My greatest pleasure comes from accomplishing this goal. It is a privilege to contribute to one of the most important events in my clients’ lives.”
