Novel Affair

Supporters celebrated an evening with eleven of Ragdale’s most celebrated writers and artists during a cocktail reception and book signing at the exquisite East Lake Forest estate “Fairlawn,” a 1923 Georgian mansion, with soaring ceilings, a majestic ballroom, and refined formal gardens. The reception, currently in its 11th year, was followed by intimate dinners in distinctive North Shore homes featuring one or more authors or artists offering short presentations and engaging with guests throughout the evening. Funds from the evening totaled more than $75,000 to benefit Ragdale’s historic artist retreat and support the organizations new Ragdale in Schools program beginning this year. ragdale.org
