If you’re looking for a realtor who truly appreciates the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff markets, look no further than Keri Cook Falls. Falls brings a well-rounded background of interior design, architecture, and real estate intelligence coupled with business acumen to benefit any type of buyer or seller. Falls understands home buying is a special type of investment. For many people, buying a home is the single biggest investment they will make and Falls takes this very seriously, managing every detail of the process.
Falls and her husband, Doug, live and raise their two children within the community. An Indiana native, Falls first came to town as an art history major at Lake Forest College.
Post college, she stayed in the Chicago area and continued her education at the School of the Art Institute, focusing on interior architecture. At the beginning of her career, Falls worked in design, which eventually led her to Jones Lang LaSalle for commercial real estate.
Fast forward to 2004, Falls made the jump to residential real estate and has never looked back. Given her family history, it was a natural career move. Her family has been in the business for more than 50 years. Her father and brother founded a boutique real estate firm in the family-oriented ski town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
“I believe in the process of real estate. It’s a business you need to develop and work each day in order to find success,” says Falls. She has deep roots in the community and has developed many great relationships with contractors in the area. Her design and architecture expertise allow her to walk into a home and help buyers see the potential and understand the options for any given space. Falls understands the cost of construction and the planning within the local guidelines. She also offers staging services for her clients to assist them in presenting their homes in the best possible light for prospective buyers.
Falls mainly focuses her business within Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Lincolnshire, and Bannockburn. From single-family homes to condominiums, she handles transactions from $200,000 to more than $3 million. “Whether my client is a first-time homebuyer or a seasoned seller, I get a great deal of satisfaction helping them through the real estate process,” she explains.
Falls has an experienced eye for style and layout, a dedication to her clients, and a love of the community. “Building relationships within the community and having first-hand knowledge of all the things the North Shore has to offer is vital to my success,” she says. “Balancing the personal aspect of home buying with the serious business side of the investment is key to helping my clients find the perfect place to call home.”
