Woodlands Academy
Entitled “The Power of Dreams,” Woodlands Academy celebrated their 38th annual Congé at Knollwood Country Club on April 30. Nearly 200 current and former parents, alumni, students, staff, faculty, and administrators raised nearly $377,000 for Woodlands. More than $161,000 of that total went toward the Fund-a-Woodlands Scholarship, which not only set a live auction record, but will be available to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to succeed in a rigorous academic environment and have financial need. Other auction items included a dream vacation to Kauai and a dream dinner with Mike Leonard. Major contributors to Congé were Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company, Harris Private Bank, Pepper Construction, and ZY Media.
