The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Concealed Carry informational session on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the College of Lake County, Grayslake Campus, Building C, Auditorium located at 19351 W. Washington Street, Grayslake, Illinois 60030 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act, 430 ILCS 66, became law in 2013; however, it was not until January 5, 2014 that Illinois residents were first eligible to apply for concealed carry licenses. The Lake County community is requesting updated information on Concealed Carry Law. Lake County State’s Attorney Michael G. Nerheim, Lake County Sheriff Mark C. Curran Jr. and Undersheriff Raymond J. Rose along with Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy Roman Buchberger and Assistant State’s Attorney Daniel Kleinhubert will update the community on the enacted Concealed Carry Law.
The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office will engage in a discussion Concealed Carry Law and how the community has reacted as a result of this new law.
