The Evanston Community Foundation (ECF) awarded more than $825,000 to organizations that serve Evanston residents at its annual meeting on May 31. President and CEO Monique B. Jones started the evening off with and opening address about current and future goals of ECF. A record $337,500 was awarded to 26 organizations in Responsive Grants, with additional funds awarded from the Communityworks, Partners for the Future and Building the Future, root2fruit, Rolling, Community Catalyst, and Climate Action grant programs. Board Chair Diana Cohen presented the Jim Kogen Foundation Spirit Award to Michael Brody. evanstonforever.org
