Place the Hope: Children’s Place International

Nearly 200 guests celebrated a decade of service by Children’s Place International at Architectural Artifacts this fall. The Place the Hope campaign raised more than $150,000 to help children living in the Caribbean and Africa overcome extreme poverty and illness. The benefit was emceed by WBEZ’s Jerome McDonnell and chaired by Brad Dunlap and Terry McAllister. Guests enjoyed a make-your-own-mojito-bar, Caribbean and African cuisine followed by an awards ceremony. Honorable Princess Kasune Zulu of Zambia was awarded the Frontline Hero Award, and Indiana-based nonprofit Konbit LaSante Pou Limonad was awarded the Midwest Hero Award. childrensplaceinternational.org
