Marcin and Kasia Kadzielawski’s love story began when they met in a personal training studio. Kasia says that in some ways, it feels like it was their destiny to open one of their own one day. Their shared passion for fitness, an active lifestyle, and helping others was a foundation to create Equilibrium Personal Training. At their new Barrington studio, they provide a high-quality, personalized system that offers powerful results with expert and safe customized training for individual clients—continuing the work they’ve been doing in our community for more than two decades to help people accomplish individual fitness goals and dreams. With two children (Leilani, 6, and Kai, 4) they are even more inspired to make a difference for their clients as well as their own family. Here are a few of this couple’s favorite lasts.
Last fabulous vacation that you will not soon forget? Kona, Hawaii. It was a very surreal experience to witness and participate along all the best triathletes in the world on this beautiful island. The atmosphere and scenery there was just spectacular.
Last movie that inspired you? Life Itself, a 2018 film that focuses on the power of tragedy, death, love, and life. While the film is weighty, it offers a message of hope. Despite the terrible things that may happen in life, if we dare to get up and go just a little bit further, we can find love and happiness.
Last piece of advice you received that you’ve shared with others? Old habits eat good intentions for lunch. Change your habits so you can change your outcomes.
Last feedback from a customer that made you realize why you started your business? On numerous occasions people proved us it’s never too late to become fit and healthy and significantly slow down the aging process. Anyone at any age can more fit!
Last fitness discovery or epiphany that you love to share with others? It’s not that new but we can’t prioritize enough the importance of sleep. There is huge correlation between disrupted sleep and weight gain, in which fat accumulation is increased at the same time as a muscle mass is reduced.
