Favorite foods? Sushi … not eating it is one of the hardest things about being pregnant
Music you love? I majored in music in college so I enjoy a wide a wide variety of genres; everything from hip-hop to opera but ’90s R&B has a special place in my heart.
Best advice ever given to you? My mom always says “don’t sweat the small stuff and treat people the way you would like to be treated.”
Best advice you’ve given? Happy people don’t have the best of everything; they make the best of everything
Earliest memory? I remember being scared of the characters in Disney World and instead of hugging them I would cry and sit on their feet.
When you wake up, you? Snuggle my daughter in bed as long as she will let me before making myself a cappuccino while I get her breakfast ready
Before bed, you? Lather my belly with lotion and let my husband feel the baby kick
What’s on your bookshelf? Whatever my neighborhood book club is reading that month and all my daughters favorite books
You can’t live without? Amazon Prime and seeing my daughter’s face light up when my husband gets home from work … in that order
Love to escape to? Anywhere and everywhere … we love always having an amazing trip to look forward to and our daughter has been the best tiny traveler

Transportation? Walking or Uber … the less driving I have to do when downtown the better
Driving music? ’80s music (cheesier the better)…nothing makes sitting in traffic go by faster than listening to songs like Eddie Murphy’s “Party All The Time”
Place to eat? Blue Door Tavern—they have a beautiful outdoor garden and I love Chef Art Smith’s food. The fried chicken and waffles are a must at brunch time.
Shop? I love stopping by my favorite boutique Intermix and the 900 North Michigan Shops
Best thing about town? The beautiful views, fabulous shows, food, and shopping
Worst thing about town? That we can’t just teleport home
