While many North Shore families have become accustomed to celebrating with a “Plan B” during these times of COVID19, Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook has another idea for making these high holy days more festive and special. Chef Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris put together two home cooked meals to be shared with friends and family in intimate, appropriately socially distanced settings. We were able to get a copy of Stegner’s delicious “Chopped Chicken Liver” to share with you in advance of the beginning of Rosh Hashanah this weekend. Looking ahead to Yom Kippur, there’s still time to pre-order your entire “break fast” meal special. Wines by the bottle are also available. Yom Kippur meals must be ordered by Wednesday, September 23 for curbside pickup on Sunday, September 27 (before sundown) for enjoying Monday, September 28.
