The Art Center Highland Park kicked off its annual member and faculty exhibition Thursday evening with a much-anticipated opening night reception. Running now through January 29, the exhibit showcases the artistic talents and works of the TACHP community—featuring more than 50 origi- nal works of students, emerging, and professional artists who are TAC members and/or faculty. A wide range of artistic experience and media has meant an exuberant and unique show each year.
“Whenever I visit classes in session I’m impressed with the work being created by our students, and of course are faculty is made up of some of the best professional artists in the area,” says Executive Director James M. Lynch. “I’ve only seen a preview of the work so far, but it’s really something to look forward to.”
