LAKE BLUFF – The energetic bold appearance of the BMW X2, on loan for the day from Knauz Automotive Group, Lake Bluff, will set the pace for bikers at the 7th Annual Northwestern Medicine Lake Bluff Criterium on Saturday, July 21 at 9 a.m., next to the Lake Bluff Village Green. This sporty, aggressive, all new SAV will lead off the races with some serious power, similar to that of the athletes competing in the Criterium.
Knauz Automotive Group, Lake Bluff, dedicated to community involvement, is once again, proud to be a major sponsor of this event. In addition to its special role in the Criterium, the BMW X2 will be on display in downtown Lake Bluff, allowing visitors an opportunity to see it up close and personal, not just whizzing by!
The X2 boasts tons of cargo space while offering comfort and versatility to drivers and passengers alike. A variety of other vehicles from the Knauz Autopark, including models from Mercedes Benz, Sprinter, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Genesis, and Hyundai will also be on exhibit at the festivities.
The bike races will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue until 8 p.m., featuring cyclists from more than 30 states in the USA as well as 15 foreign countries, competing for prize $$ totals of more than $7,000. There will be fun for the kids with a special bike race for them, a performance by the Chris Clark Bicycle Stunt Show, jumbotrons, live music, food, libations and, all in all, an action packed, fabulous day, celebrating summer on the Lake Bluff Village Green.
