LAKE FOREST – Are you or your children fascinated by Native American culture? On Friday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Historical Society of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff will present a free, family oriented program about the Potawatomi people living in Lake County in the 1800s.
Bring the kids and learn all about the tribe’s daily lives with a hands-on look at various materials, including Native American artifacts from thousands of years ago excavated in Lake Forest.
