WINNETKA – For the second year in a row, Winnetka’s Elm Street shopping district will be energized with live music performances throughout the summer. Artists from the North Shore Music Institute will entertain shoppers and diners on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in a performance series sponsored by Hoffmann Commercial Real Estate.
A wide variety of music acts have been scheduled to appear beginning May 17, with performances from 4 to 8 p.m. This year the location will alternate between three properties owned by Hoffmann Commercial Real Estate: Chestnut Street at Chestnut Court on Thursdays, 552 Lincoln Avenue on Fridays, and Elm Street at Lincoln (outside Café Aroma) on Saturdays.
Artists tentatively scheduled to appear in the opening weeks of the series include Morgan Fingleton on May 17; Louie Zagoras on May 18; The Apuli Brothers on May 19; Joey Edwin on May 24; and Retro-fit featuring Peter Polzak and Paul Merar on May 25.
“We are excited to continue working with the outstanding musicians from North Shore Music Institute,” said Hoffmann Commercial Real Estate CEO Greg Hoffmann. “This music series is one of many ways we are encouraging residents and visitors to explore and support our local businesses. We are looking forward to a fun and entertaining summer with the Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street area growing as a Winnetka destination for shopping and dining.”

The Apuli Brothers will perform in Winnetka on May 19.
