More than 160 North Shore guests enjoyed an opportunity to support cancer research in Chicago at the Auxiliary Board of the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation’s (UCCRFAB) annual fundraiser. This year’s theme, “Clue to A Cure,” featured dinner, entertainment by Chicago artist Brendan Cooney, and silent and live auctions including several exclusive trips to Tuscany, Aspen, and Deer Valley for the Sundance Film Festival. The annual event raised funds that will support three University of Chicago doctors: Drs. Mark Applebaum, Nita Karnik Lee, and Jane Churpek. Co-chairs Kim Warren Kirincic and Carolyn Rutstein were proud to announce that $180,000 in gross proceeds were raised at the event, contributing to the more than $3 million raised by the Auxiliary Board since 1959. uccrfab.org
