Winter Club hosted the 4th Annual Paddle Fundraiser to benefit the House of Peace domestic violence shelter in Northern Lake County. The generous support of 32 players from various North Shore clubs along with many other volunteers helped to raise $15,000 for the Shelter’s Give-A-Night campaign.
The goal of the Give-A-Night campaign is to secure donations totaling $500 per night for all 365 nights a year. The campaign supports any number of critical services, including legal advocacy, job placement, and counseling services. House of Peace has transformed the lives of 71 women and 142 children since its opening in 2011.
