The friends and supporters of Glenkirk raised $200,000 during the organization’s annual Benefit Brunch, hosted each year by Eileen Bennin of Highland Park. Ravinia Green Country Club was bursting, as guests enjoyed brunch and a special presentation by director and producer Michael Engler, Yale Drama School graduate and Emmy Award Nominee. Jim Styer was honored with the Community Development Award. Funds raised from the event will go on to support the organization, which provides quality, lifetime support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate fully in all areas of community life. glenkirk.com
