GLENCOE – The Glencoe Department of Public Safety issued a news alert about a death investigation on Friday afternoon, Sept. 30, at 3:10 p.m.
At approximately 10:00 am on September 30, 2016, Glencoe Public Safety police and fire units responded to a report of a male subject who had fallen off a bridge in the 500 block of Sheridan Road. Responding officers located the unresponsive victim on the floor of the ravine with severe injuries. With the assistance of the Northfield Fire Department, the victim was rescued and transported to Evanston Hospital. The victim did not survive his injuries.
The victim’s identity is unknown. The case is being treated as a death investigation at this time; there are no indications of foul play. Further information will be released as the investigation continues.
