GLENCOE – A Chicago man was arrested on burglary charges after police responded to a call of a burglary in progress.
Police were called to the 400 block of Lakeside Terrace on June 29 by a resident reporting that a burglary was in progress. Police determined that the individual had fled the area by the time they arrived.
Shortly thereafter, officers located a man matching the description of the suspect on foot near the Glencoe train station. Christopher Puente, 30, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with residential burglary and burglary to motor vehicle.
