Supporters of Have Dreams, the Chicago-area nonprofit serving children, teens, and young adults with autism, gathered at the Radisson Blu Aqua to toast the organization’s 20th anniversary in late spring. Michelle and Robert Smigel, creators of Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars biennial benefit for autism, were honored for their national support of autism causes across the nation. Film critic and Good Day Chicago co-host Richard Roeper emceed the benefit, which raised $500,000 for Have Dreams’ programs. havedreams.org
