WILMETTE – Wilmette police confirmed that Sinead O’Connor was found safe and sound.
Police told the Daily North Shore that O’Connor is not considered a missing or endangered person. When asked if O’Connor had been found, Wilmette police spokesman responded with a loud and emphatic “yes!”

WILMETTE – Singer Sinead O’Connor is reportedly missing after a bike ride on the North Shore, ABC reported.
The TV station reported that Wilmette police said they had been contacted to conduct a well-being check and that O’Connor had taken a bike ride Sunday around 6 a.m. and not returned.
O’Connor did post to Facebook at 8:12 a.m.
The meaning of the message is unknown.
In December O’Connor told fans that she had been detained for a mental health evaluation, the Toronto Sun reported.
O’Connor is best known for the hit “Nothing Compares 2 U” released in 1990.
The Chicago Tribune reported that Wilmette police said O’Connor was last seen riding a Raleigh motorized bike with a pink basket. Police told the newspaper that O’Connnor was wearing a black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with “Ireland” on the back.
The newspaper reported that they were called around 1 p.m. Sunday and had checked parks and beaches in the area.
