WINNETKA- Supervisor Paddie Brennen and the elected officials of New Trier Township invite residents and the local business community to attend the 167th New Trier Township Annual Meeting. The event will be held April 12, at the Kenilworth Club, 410 Kenilworth Avenue in Kenilworth. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a reception and the meeting begins at 7 p.m.
New Trier Township elected officials Paddie Brennen, Jerome Hoynes, Jan Churchwell and Gerri Kahnweiler will report on the Township’s mission. Representatives of local social service agencies will also be in attendance to share information about their organizations.
Andy Duran, executive director of LEAD (Linking Efforts Against Drugs), will be the keynote speaker. LEAD and New Trier Township recently launched a leading edge program called TextATip, permitting students in grades 512 throughout the Township to reach out for help via an anonymous text messaging system.
