Being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) is a pricey proposition on the North Shore. And the consequences can last a lifetime.
It’s a wife, a husband, a son, daughter, or friend in the North Shore who’s getting arrested. Anyone from high-level executives to low-level assistants can be charged.
When a driver is pulled over by the police with a .08 blood-alcohol concentration or above, the first cost can be the impoundment of his or her vehicle, which can range from $500 to $3,000, depending on which department from Lake Bluff to Evanston is making the arrest.
