Senior Wes Janeck spent a big chunk of his night celebrating in the end zone.
The Lake Forest High School running back scored three touchdowns in his team’s 29-20 homecoming win over Libertyville on Friday night.
Janeck, who will play lacrosse for the University of Maryland next year, scored his first TD of the night just before halftime on a 71-yard kick return.
He also rushed for two touchdowns (19 and 7 yards) in the fourth quarter. Janeck finished the game with 148 rushing yards. He went over 100 yards for the third time this season.
Lake Forest quarterback Danny Carolla finished the game with 132 passing yards. Senior Kyle Gattari made a pair of first quarter field goals: 33 and 44 yards. Senior linebacker Jack Traynor had an interception.
The Scouts improved to 4-1.
