Lake Forest, IL – The Lake Forest Business Accelerator is a new satellite location that opens doors for small businesses looking to go into the global market. The new Accelerator partnership with the World Trade Center Illinois (WTI) will be open to members of the accelerator and for a limited time, open to all businesses in Lake Forest. The unparalleled global alliance and comprehensive trade resources and services will be available to support efforts of members to enter or expand global market opportunities. Each month businesses will meet with WTI representatives at the satellite location, 50 East Old Mill Road, Lake Forest.
WTI international networking events will provide members the opportunity to meet influential decision makers in various international markets. Educational and training programs will be offered to enhance knowledge and capabilities of international business. As a result, members will have in-depth knowledge about the country with who they would like to do business.

Junnarkar, Ph.D, founder of Field Viewers, Inc. states, “This new international alliance will help position the Lake Forest business community to take advantage of global/international opportunities. Our industrial measurement and controls company, serving Aluminum, Steel and other metals manufacturers is looking forward to expanding the partnership into other countries in the near future.”
World Trade Illinois is a global trade center devoted to expanding international trade between Illinois business and world markets. Furthermore, WTI is a non-profit organization that provides vital international trade services to WTI members.
Over 80 percent of global economic growth during the next decade is projected to come from outside the U.S. According to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), 96% of the world’s consumers live outside the U.S.
WTI also provides a service known as the World Trade Plus Services. This is an array of business services that enable members to conduct international business more efficiently by providing analytical and historical data, improving the global competitiveness of Illinois business, and supplying resourceful information such as credit background checks and export/import documentation.
