From the Lake Bluff Police Department:
The Lake Bluff Police Department has been investigating car burglaries occurring on Park Lane and Mawman Avenue. Officers initially responded to a report of a burglarized vehicle in the 100 block of Park Lane at 4:49 a.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2012. While checking the area, a suspect was located and placed under arrest. It was later discovered that three additional vehicles had also been entered and had miscellaneous items removed. All the vehicles were parked overnight unlocked.
The suspect has been identified as Dean Feley, 18, of Lake Bluff. Feley was charged with Burglary (Class 2 Felony), and Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol. Feley was released on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond after a bond hearing in Lake County Court. His next scheduled court date is August 30, 2012 in Lake County Court.
The Lake Bluff Police Department reminds the public that an arrest is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
