The Leadership Institute Speaker Series presents Honorable Virginia M. Conwhey Kendall ’80 on April 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Athletic Club, 626 North Michigan Ave., Chicago.
U.S. District Judge Virginia Kendall serves the Northern District of Illinois. Virginia lectures extensively both domestically and internationally (including the Vatican) on human trafficking and crimes against women and children. She is the co-author of Child Exploitation and Trafficking: Examining the Global Challenges and the U.S. Responses. Virginia has traveled to Kenya, Zambia, Liberia and Cyprus, to teach judges about public corruption, crimes against women and human trafficking.
The Leadership Institute provides a unique opportunity to the young women of Regina to build skills in its core areas of leadership. Regina Dominican is the only gender-specific Catholic High School in Illinois to offer a Leadership Institute.
