Friends for 15 years prior to tying the knot, the couple has been married for 17 years – during which time they embarked on an extensive renovation of the historic Kampert Farm House in Jewel Park. George works as a marketing vice president and is actively involved in youth mentoring, the Catholic Charities board, and on the advisory board of Associated Colleges of Illinois. He also serves as a Cuba Township Precinct Committeeman. Jennifer works as a CFO, is involved in Catholic Charities, and was recently named one of the top women in the hospitality industry. Together they support such local nonprofit endeavors as Barrington Children’s Charities, Journey Cares, Blessings in a Back Pack, and St. Anne Catholic Church.
