We agree with Linda and Lydon Neumann’s well presented letter to the editor. The characteristics of our Village is a treasure which should be embraced and protected, especially by our elected Village Board.
It is disheartening that some of our Trustees are not listening to the majority of the Village’s residents. A few questions need to be answered by the Board. Why are these Trustees and President spending so much time and our money on STRs when the majority of our residents are against STRs? What is the relationship between Trustees/President and any of the STR owners?
It is time that the Village Board recognizes it has to stop spending our revenue on this issue, enforce our present STR ordinance and direct all revenue to the betterment of the whole Village and not to a selected few residents.
