Catholic Charities hosted the 28th Annual Spirit of Saint Nicholas Ball at the Hilton Chicago on December 1 with more than 1,350 guests in attendance. Guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, dinner, and live entertainment, with all of the proceeds benefiting the nine child development centers, after-school programs, counseling services, and teen parenting centers that Catholic Charities provides for children throughout the Chicago area.
Hosted by Most Reverend Blase J. Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago, Reverend Monsignor Michael M. Boland, President of Catholic Charities, along with chair couple Mr. and Mrs. Michael O’Grady, the event raised a record-breaking $1.7 Million. Guests enjoyed live entertainment by the Ken Arlen Orchestra, a gourmet dinner and late night sweet treats. catholiccharities.net
